Are you in the mood for some fall fun? That’s great, because we’ve got just the place! It’s that time of year again when the heat breaks, the leaves start to change, and everything in the grocery store is flavored with pumpkin spice.

It’s a fun time to celebrate, and that’s why we’re making Beasley’s Orchard our community spotlight this month. You can learn more about all the fun fall festivities they have to offer and then check them out on Facebook to plan your visit!

Fall Fun and Events at Beasley’s Orchard

In business since 1946, you can expect a full season of fun when you visit Beasley’s Orchard. They offer U-Pick produce year-round, including pick your own strawberries in June and pick your own apples starting Labor Day Weekend.

Speaking of apples, be sure to stop by for the Annual Heartland Apple Festival held the first two weeks of October!

On it’s 33rd year, the Heartland Apple Festival is Hendricks County’s oldest tradition. During the festival you can pick a pumpkin, try the corn maze, and enjoy some live music and local food and craft vendors.

Other events we love include Dog Daze at the Maze. Yes, dogs are allowed and encouraged during this weekend. Your four-legged family members can take part in the pet costume contest, enter the talent contest, or race their way through the corn maze. There will also be dogs available for adoption from local shelters.

Of course, we can’t forget the star of the autumn show: Halloween. The Beasley’s Orchard Halloweekend closes out the season with Halloween-themed activities, including a costume contest!

Other Seasonal Activities

In addition to their abundance of harvest-themed events, they offer fun to be had all season long. For example, you can take their hayride through the apple orchard and enjoy the nostalgic scenery of the changing landscape or leaves.

It’ll let you off at the U-Pick pumpkin patch with acres upon acres of pumpkins. You’re sure to find the perfect one to paint or carve with all they have to pick from!

Definitely don’t leave without trying the Apple Cannons or shopping for local produce at the expansive farm market. They sell all kinds of items in addition to produce, like baking mixes, jams, jellies, tea, candles, and more!
